Audience participation time, everyone.
I find myself in the midst of writing an essay on the subject of creativity exercises and writing stories on command, while at the same time looking ahead to a weekend with a fair amount of free time, and I find I really, really want to do a spur of the moment short comic. Call it an illustration, if you will, of the principles of creativity on command. So I am declaring a Minicomic Weekend starting sometime on Friday.
This won’t be a full on minicomics live! this time. Instead of blogging the entire process step by step throughout the day, I will do a single roundup post at the end of each day. I am also not holding myself strictly to the usual rule forbidding thinking about the story ahead of time. I plan to take notes (and possibly even start writing) on Thursday, in an effort to get the entire comic finished over the long weekend.
So this is where you come in. Instead of collecting proper story seeds this time, I am asking for words. I’ll collect several of these words and use them to grow the idea for a minicomic. If you would like to contribute a word to the development of a new Kekionga story, send it to kekiongacomics@yahoo.com or post it here in a comment. C’mon. It’s just a word*.
