unusual find at the farmers’ market

Went to the Farmers’ Market to take pictures and buy houseplant cuttings and maybe a taco, but I ended up with something rather unexpected.  farmer's marketNote that I consistently misplace the apostrophe in Farmers’ Market throughout the sample.  There was more than one farmer there.  And a guy selling fountain pens in hand turned bodies.  But no taco truck.

What a fantastic find! I love this page, Pam – I know it’s completely off the cuff, but that’s a big part of its charm. It’s so fresh and spontaneous, with lovely embellishments, and the dragon is lovely! (Also, the little cartoon!Pam over at the right made me grin …)

By the way, I ran across something today you might like:

Thank you– I’ve always made pages like this for every new pen I buy– I’ve started posting them and you can find them under “drawing tools” This one has better narrative content than most of them.

Love the T-shirt– although Rufus, oddly enough, has learned to fetch and will sometimes give you a dozen retrieves in a row before losing interest.

I was nice meeting you yesterday at the market and learning from you about fountain pen. I was intrigued watching you draw in your pocket notebook. You make art look so easy!

I am glad to hear you like the pen and maybe even the ink 🙂 .

    Have a Great Day !!

David is the person who made my new pen. I’m going to post pictures in today’s post– it really is a beauty and very interesting to use.

“Art” is a very strong word for the scribbles and doodles in the back of my pocket notebook! But it does come in very handy for trying out new pens and practicing the strokes and linework you use in a finished drawing.

Thank you very much for matching me up with this new pen. I think you are really getting somewhere with this particular design– it’s surprisingly light and balances well.
