IMGP0132-crop1-crocus tripleThree posts about crocuses this week, I guess, ending with some photographs from one of those lawns full of early crocuses that you see in old towns.  And of course Kekionga is modeled at least in part on my own neighborhood.


These are the pale purple early crocuses, as seen by the Pentax K-5iis (Kilo) and the Pentax D/FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro.  As you see below, they are already fading.


Whether it is coincidence or composition that the crocuses appear in threes in these images is open to question.
