Otherwise known as the Christmas Cactus. There were quite a few of them in bloom at Menards today.

As winter deepens, we take our flower photography where we find it.

    One of the few houseplants I’ve been able to keep alive for years is a christmas cactus. Or rather, three of them. I shoved three small ones in one big pot so it looks like one big one. I water it when I remember (not too often) and for some reason, the thing blooms pretty much non stop from Thanksgiving to about mid March.
